Sauteed Broccoli w/ Garlic Sauce at Kim Wu = The Perfect Chinese Takeout Night

There’s nothing quite like spending a relaxing Friday evening at home eating out of a container filled with Chinese food and watching some great T.V.

After weeks of craving Chinese food, I finally treated myself to a Friday night dinner at Kim Wu. I’m not new to Kim Wu and its amazing food. I had tried it before as a meat eater. My most recent visit would be my first time at the restaurant as a non meat-eater. I was a little hesitant to try it, but went ahead because I knew that I couldn’t hold off the cravings much longer.

Here’s what I ordered: sautéed broccoli in garlic sauce with vegetable fried rice and a vegetable egg roll. Everything was really good and flavorful. I especially liked that the broccoli florets were cooked perfectly, not too soft but with a nice crisp to them. What was a little off putting about Kim Wu’s was that everything I ordered had a separate cost. The broccoli only came with white rice, so I had to add an additional order of the vegetable fried rice and egg roll to really get my order the way that I wanted it. But, it wasn’t a deal breaker for me. I will most definitely visit again, and will probably order the exact same thing.
