I spent a beautiful Sunday afternoon tasting a few customer favorites from downtown Orlando’s Drunken Monkey Coffee Bar. Its eclectic and funky vibe is the perfect back drop to its diverse menu. Meat eaters, vegetarians, and even vegans can find something to enjoy!
During my recent visit, I had the opportunity to try the Tree Hugger, which is a huge vegan burrito stuffed with scrambled tofu, greens, spinach, tempeh, and comes with a side of spicy cajun sauce. This burrito is probably one of the best vegan burritos I have had, and I’ve had quite a few. To top things off, owner Larry Hardin not only let me taste one of his famous Anzac cookies, which is also vegan, but he also gave me a short history lesson on them as well.
